Production Assistant - Working under the supervision of the MPAC Production Team, the Production Assistant will work in a variety of areas including stage, sound, lighting and video. Production Assistants will participate in setups, strikes, rehearsals, and show shifts for each specific event. They will also assist in equipment organization, maintenance, and upkeep projects.

Supervisor Name and Title: Lindsey Hallbrooks, Production Manager of the Maltz Performing Arts Center
Pay: $13.50/hr with yearly raises- Federal Work Study is not required
Hours - Average 5 to 10 hrs per week, highly flexible - Mainly evenings and weekends
Requirements:
Proven experience working in a theater, concert hall or other performance-related venue - As either a performer onstage, stage hand off stage or a member of the front of house team
Technical experience in the areas of stage operations, lighting, sound and/or video
Basic experience working in a backstage environment under direction of a stage manager
Familiarity with basic safety measures and practices as it related to performance venues
Ideal candidates will be able to read music and orient themselves with a conductor’s score
