As our production engineer, you need to ensure the safe and stable operation of the production line.

Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibilities

  • Compliance & Management Systems:
    Ensure departmental operations comply with company requirements for Safety, Health, Environment, Security (EHS), Lean Manufacturing, and Quality. Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, RoHS, REACH, and GMP systems.
  • SHEQ & Safety Management:
    • Strictly execute company SHEQ systems and procedures.
    • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and strictly adhere to all safety and operational regulations.
    • Attend regular safety meetings to enhance awareness of site security, technical safety, fire prevention, and traffic safety.
    • Participate in company safety activities, maintain safety records, and propose suggestions for safety improvements.
    • Assist the supervisor in conducting pre-shift safety briefings, in-shift safety inspections, and post-shift safety summaries. Immediately stop any violations, inspect equipment/tools, and rectify hazards on-site. Escalate unresolvable hazards immediately.
    • In the event of a safety incident, preserve the scene, report it immediately, and assist management in the investigation and handling process.
    • Comply strictly with laws and regulations; complete all required training and examinations as scheduled to obtain necessary certifications.
  • Production & Material Management:
    • Track production material usage, including requisition, warehousing, consumption, and inventory control. Assist in resolving material shortages to ensure continuous production.
    • Manage auxiliary materials inventory for all production stations, including requisition, registration, and usage tracking.
    • Manage tooling/fixtures inventory and track their lifecycle.
    • Strictly execute process and quality requirements. Adhere to management systems, technical operating procedures, and process cards. Implement safety measures for all operations to achieve energy-saving, consumption-reducing, and efficiency-enhancing targets.
  • Data & Documentation:
    • Compile and verify shift-level operational data to ensure accuracy.
    • Collect, organize, and archive paper-based production records.
    • Summarize monthly production documents and hand them over to the document administrator for storage.
  • Team & Site Support:
    • Manage employee attendance and assist with new employee training.
    • Assist the supervisor in managing the production site, ensuring employees operate according to SOPs, and participate in SHEQ activities and 5S management.
    • Assist the supervisor in drafting and updating SOPs to continuously improve operational procedures.
  • Ad-hoc Duties:
    Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Materials, Management, or related majors; strong safety awareness.
  • Hardworking with strong hands-on capabilities; excellent learning ability; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Outstanding fresh graduates with a bachelor's degree.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing plants is preferred.
  • Familiar with equipment operation and proficient in various unit operations.
