Master Flo Valve Inc. is currently seeking a full-time permanent Production Assistant for our day shift to work in Edmonton, AB

Work Conditions:

  • Day shift Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Work is primarily performed indoors.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a mechanically inclined job For example: construction, manufacturing, assembly, skilled labourer, or automotive mechanic. Comprehensive in-house training will be provided to the right candidate.
  • Hoisting and rigging training an asset but we will provide training.
  • Grade 12 education preferred.
  • WHMIS training provided.
  • Forklift training an asset, but we will provide in-house training.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Solid work ethic and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all functions related to the preparation of product for sandblasting.
  • Perform all functions related to the sandblasting of product prior to painting.
  • Perform final preparation of product after painting.
  • Assist with production assembly/testing as required.

Duties Include:

  • Maintain traceability of prepared product through production processing.
  • Ensure product quality is maintained through the production process.
  • Preserve product after painting for shipment to the customer.
  • Actively supports and complies with corporate programs, standards and policies, including the Health and Safety, Environmental, and quality programs.
  • Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the paint department and perform all maintenance required on equipment.
  • Perform other duties as required
