At Fever, we are expanding our original experiences across Europe! We are looking for one highly organized Freelance Production Assistant to be our primary on-site point of reference for our upcoming shows in Hungary.
This is a versatile role, acting as the bridge between the Italian production team, the local cast, and the technical crew.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Production & Setup:
- Point of Reference: Act as the local lead for all pre-production and show management aspects.
- Technical Prep: Review all AV materials (images, video, audio) and analyze scripts/cue sheets.
- Content: Proofread and translate scripts/production materials from English to the local language.
- Logistics: Venue scouting, inspections, and preparing physical props and printed materials for each performance.
Show Running & Direction:
- QLab Management: Full ownership of the show-control via QLab 5, ensuring synchronized execution of all cues.
- Show Calling: Direct the live execution, coordinating the Staff Coordinator and actors (entry/exit cues) to ensure a seamless "run of show."
- Voting & Verdicts: Manage the digital/manual voting system, compile result documents, and coordinate the delivery of verdict envelopes to the judges/jury.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues in real-time to guarantee show fluidity.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: 2+ years in live entertainment, theater, or event production with a strong background in Show Calling and stage management.
- Tech Kit: Must own a Mac laptop and be fully autonomous in using QLab.
- Language: Native or bilingual proficiency in the local language (Hungarian) and proficient English (to liase with Italian team)
- Local Network: Deeply familiar with the local scene (venues, actor agencies, AV partners).
- Skills: High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to lead a local crew.
AVAILABILITY Immediate start. Most of the work will be done between February and April. Further details will be given during the interview process.
