Job Title:Production Assembler

Reports To:Team Lead

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Production & Assembly

  • Perform precision assembly of products according to established work instructions and technical blueprints.

  • Operate shop machinery, including band saws and drill presses, with a high degree of safety and accuracy.

  • Execute professional boxing and packaging of finished products for shipment or warehouse storage.

  • Operate forklifts with precision to move materials throughout the facility safely.

Quality & Safety

  • Conduct rigorous in-process quality inspections to ensure all products meet brand standards.

  • Adhere to 6S/Lean Manufacturing standards tomaintaina clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

  • Proactively report safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations to leadership.

Operational Excellence

  • Participate in Kaizen activities and suggest process enhancements to drive efficiency.

  • Assistthe maintenance team with preventive maintenance (PM) and minor mechanical repairs within theoperatorscope.

  • Collaborate across departments,assistingin other production areas as needed to meet team goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:High school diploma or GED required

  • Experience:1–3 years in manufacturing or plant operations preferred (willing to train candidates with high aptitude).

Technical Skills:Proficiencywith hand tools and shop equipment (band saws, drill presses).

  • Strong mechanical aptitude: experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, or rotating equipment is a plus.

  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.

Certifications

  • Ability to obtain/maintainforklift certification isrequired; technical certifications are a bonus.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 80 lbs. (utilizingproper lifting techniques orassistancewhererequired).
