Job Description

The Area Manager is responsible for ensuring a seamless production flow and maintaining high product quality within the manufacturing area. This role involves coordinating staff, optimizing resources, implementing a Zero Defect mindset, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate staff within the manufacturing area to ensure efficient operations.
• Quality and Compliance: Implement and sustain a Zero Defect culture, ensuring adherence to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards and specific customer requirements.
• Budget Management: Oversee labor, overhead, and scrap costs to optimize resource utilization.
• Production Performance: Ensure achievement of daily production targets (BTS) while maintaining high efficiency levels (OEE and BWS).
• Safety and Ergonomics: Conduct regular assessments to enforce workplace safety standards and 5S methodology.
• Process Improvement and Cost Reduction: Drive cost reduction initiatives (TQCM) and support operational excellence (OPEX).
• Engineering Changes and New Product Launches: Ensure timely execution of ECN and actively participate in new product builds, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in manufacturing or production engineering.
• Background: Engineering degree required.
• Technical & Leadership Skills: Strong expertise in production processes, lean manufacturing, and quality control.
• Language: Fluency in English is required.
