Scor Tech (~200 employees across the globe) provides products, services, and support to all SCOR Group worldwide. Its 2 key challenges today are to successfully implement its new Target Operating Model (TOM), to be supported by an ambitious pluri-annual internalization plan to deliver innovative products and services to its clients.

TheScor Tech organization is an Agile matricial organization relying on 4 pillars:

  • Data and System Engineering, made of the following teams: Data Center of Excellence, Products and Systems Engineering and Enterprise Architecture
  • Management & Control (M&C) & Corporate Systems, made of teams supporting Crews and Transversal Functional Domains: Governance, T&D Operating Model Implementation, Security & Compliance, Financial Control, Sourcing & Vendor Management, Governance, and Processes
  • Technical, made of teams dedicated to IT Operations, Network, Cloud, Workplace & Cloud Productivity Services
  • Crews and Transversal Functional Domains

Crews are supported by Chapters (Software Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Operation) and both Technical and M&C teams are fully dedicated to the delivery of SCOR products, services and support.

Under the responsibility of Manager IT Operations, Production Administrator supports the company’s strategic and operating objectives through maintaining high level of excellence of Products delivered to End Users. Within SCOR IT Technical / Operations Chapter, your key function will consist in:

  • Monitoring SCOR group's information systems to maintain it in optimal operating condition
  • Maintaining daily processes such as backups while keeping an eye on issues impacting Disaster Recovery capacity
  • Managing monthly patching
  • Contributing to continuous improvement on monitoring, scheduling or other tools and Operations Chapter documentation
  • Sharing and training peers on your domain of expertise

Your role requires you to be detail oriented, thorough, open-minded, information-sharing and problem-solving posture, while working in a demanding environment with various stakeholders, in Technical department but also in close collaboration with Squads and Solution Owners.

  • Deliver Product(s) on time and in budget, in collaboration with Solution Owner
  • Maintain Product(s) high level of availability and reliability

Abide to and enforce SCOR Operation and Security practices

Key duties and responsibilities

Under the responsibility of the Production Run Manager, your mission and tasks will be:

  • Monitor IT systems infrastructure as services using Nagios XI and Absyss Visual TOM for batch scheduling
  • Manage and create tickets via ServiceNow
  • Handle alerts according to established procedures
  • Escalate incidents to higher levels when necessary
  • Patch infrastructure monthly insuring services restart properly and in sequence
  • Contribute to projects to enhance monitoring, backup, disaster recovery and scheduling capabilities
  • Ensure compliance with IT technical Policies and Standards

Ensure compliance and deliver evidence as required to maintain ICS controls

Required experience & competencies

  • 2+ years of experience maintaining IT Production systems
  • Expertise with the following (or similar) technologies:
    • Monitoring tools such as Nagios (bottom up approach) or Ekara (top down approach)
    • ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
    • Backup, patching and disaster recovery procedures and tools
  • Hands on experience with Monitoring, Patching, Backup, Process Automation, Disaster Recovery,… is mandatory
  • Cloud and Security knowledge is desirable
  • Observability experience such as Elastic is desirable
  • Fluent in English

Hard skills

  • Experience in technical IT support.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios XI) and scheduling tools (Absyss Visual TOM).
  • Familiarity with ticket management systems (ServiceNow).
  • Availability to work in 24/7 rotating shifts.

Soft skills

  • Client handling
  • Ability to follow resolution and escalation procedures
  • Willing to take initiatives while abiding to all SCOR rules

Required Education

Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related analytical field; or equivalent experience
