Production Administrative Assistant

Position Summary

If you are an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys keeping information accurate, coordinating schedules, and supporting a busy production team, this opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact. In this role, you will support production and engineering operations through reporting, scheduling, recordkeeping, training coordination, expense tracking, and general administrative support. This position is based at our Turlock, California facility, with periodic exposure to laboratory and manufacturing environments.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and maintain daily and monthly production reports, personnel information, labor reports, and related records.
• Support production scheduling by coordinating labor needs and managing employee time and payroll information.
• Coordinate team meetings, calendars, training programs, travel arrangements, and other administrative activities.
• Maintain accurate spreadsheets, forms, databases, safety records, material documentation, and department files.
• Track department expenses, utility usage and costs, supplies, and other operational information.
• Support environmental, health, and safety activities and related administrative responsibilities.
• Provide administrative and project support for production, engineering, facilities, and other operational needs.

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Previous administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate information.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs and the ability to learn new software and systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with employees across different teams.
• Ability to work primarily in an office setting while periodically working in laboratory and manufacturing environments.

Sensient Agricultural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California.

The hourly rate for this position is $21-$29 per hour. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
