We are seeking a Production Administrative Assistant for our First Quality Baby Products site in Macon, GA The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Production Department.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
· Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.
· Collaborates with Operations Shift Leaders to report shift payroll exceptions on weekly exceptions spreadsheet
· Creates documents for Production Department, including but not limited to disciplinary notices
· Originates Time Entry Error Forms and gathers signatures for processing
· Assist HR Timekeeper in verifying timecards and seeking answers to payroll inquiries
· Tracks Production team member 30-60-90 day evaluations and follows up with Operations Shift Leaders as needed
· Maintains Production team member vacation request schedule
· Coordinates with HR and L&D staff on new hire orientations and placement and helps communicate training
· Updates production efficiency and waste graphs
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
· High school diploma or GED
· Intermediate or greater skill level with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
· 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
· Experience in an industrial setting preferred
· Experience with payroll timekeeping preferred
· Ability to maintain confidentiality, organize, and pay close attention to detail
Work environment includes both office and industrial setting. Industrial setting is part of hearing conservation setting and hearing protection is required.
Physical requirements include:
· Frequent sitting
· Occasional walking and standing
· Occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds
· Frequent repetitive use of hands
· Ability to work required schedule, which may include weekend and early morning hours (typical schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM)
