Guaranteed 4 Days Per Week | Lead from the Front | Hands-On Production Leadership

Maverick Bio is seeking a reliable and motivated Production 2IC to support our Collections and Processing operations. This role is ideal for someone with production or manufacturing experience who is ready to step up into a team leadership position while continuing to contribute on the floor actively.

This is a practical leadership role — not an office job. You will work alongside the production team each day, helping to coordinate workflow, support operators, and keep production running safely and efficiently.

What You Will Do
- Support and coordinate day-to-day production activities
- Lead by example, working alongside operators to achieve production targets
- Help manage workflow, team performance, and daily priorities
- Ensure production tasks are completed safely and correctly
- Assist with training and supporting new team members
- Monitor product quality and production output
- Complete production records and system entries accurately
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Comfortable working within a slaughterhouse environment
- Able to work around animal processing operations, associated sights, sounds, and odours
- Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to lead by example and support a team
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- Available to work a minimum of 4 days per week
- Able to work early morning starts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Physically fit for manual handling, standing, and repetitive tasks
Bonus Points For
- Experience leading small teams or coordinating workflow
- Experience in training or mentoring staff
- Experience in regulated manufacturing or food production environments

Before You Apply

- You will be working within a livestock processing/slaughterhouse environment.
- You must be available for a minimum of 4 days per week.
