Overall objective:

• Drive the growth of Azalea by developing and executing innovative patient/consumer solutions, IMC campaigns, creative content, and digital marketing strategies.
• Develop and implement both short-term and long-term brand initiatives to strengthen consumer engagement, improve brand awareness, and support business growth in the Korean OTC acne market.
• Lead impactful consumer and pharmacy activation programs, including digital campaigns, SNS/influencer activities, offline events, POSM, pharmacist engagement, and new channel initiatives.
• Explore and execute new approaches to better connect with consumers, especially through creative storytelling, digital touchpoints, and integrated communication across online and offline channels.
• Drive desired business outcomes through close cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Supply, Commercial Excellence, and Global teams.
• Manage external partners and agencies to deliver high-quality creative content, media execution, consumer campaigns, and market insights.

Role and responsibilities:

1. Business Results

• Achieve agreed NSV and EBITDA targets for assigned products and portfolio.
• Set and monitor SMART goals across sales, market share, brand awareness, engagement, conversion, and channel activation KPIs.
• Drive sustainable growth through consumer-centric branding, digital-first campaigns, creative content, and customer engagement.
• Identify growth opportunities based on market data, customer behavior, digital performance, and competitor activities.
• Support launch readiness for new products or portfolio expansion through strong project management and go-to-market execution.

1. Market Dynamics & Customer Insights

• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, category dynamics, digital media usage, channel trends, and competitor activities.
• Translate market and customer insights into creative campaign ideas, digital content strategies, and impactful brand messages.
• Monitor customer conversations across SNS, online communities, search trends, influencer content, and relevant digital platforms.
• Identify customer pain points and unmet needs to strengthen brand relevance and growth opportunities.

1. Digital Marketing & Creative Content

• Lead digital-first strategies and IMC campaigns across SNS, influencer, video platforms, TVC, e-commerce, offline events, and key touchpoints.
• Develop creative content and customer-facing messages that make the brand memorable, relevant, and clearly differentiated.
• Utilize customer data, digital KPIs, search trends, social listening, and platform analytics to optimize campaign performance.
• Drive influencer and creator marketing to build trust, engagement, organic reach, and advocacy.
• Track performance metrics including reach, engagement, CTR, conversion, brand lift, traffic, ROI, and campaign efficiency.
• Collaborate with media, creative, digital, PR, influencer, and e- commerce agencies to deliver high-impact campaigns.

1. Plan and Execution

• Develop and execute short- and long-term brand strategies aligned with local business needs and global direction.
• Ensure annual brand plans, campaign plans, and business plans are completed and approved on time.
• Plan and execute customer engagement programs, including digital campaigns, influencer activations, offline events, branded content, and channel-linked promotions.
• Strengthen channel activation through visibility materials, customer education, stakeholder engagement, and recommendation-driving programs.
• Support channel expansion into online platforms, new customer access points, and alternative distribution channels.
• Monitor execution quality and optimize activities to maximize business impact.

1. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

• Define key customer segments and develop tailored engagement strategies.
• Build customer engagement through creative storytelling, digital content, SNS activation, influencer collaboration, and offline brand experiences.
• Collaborate with influencers, creators, healthcare professionals, external experts, and business partners to expand reach and credibility.
• Work with Medical, Commercial Excellence, and Sales teams to develop appropriate speakers, influencers, and educational programs.
• Create integrated engagement journeys from digital awareness to online or offline purchase.

1. Cross-functional Teamwork

• Collaborate with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Supply, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Global teams, and external agencies.
• Lead cross-functional alignment for IMC campaigns, product launches, supply improvement, channel activation, and business expansion.
• Communicate brand vision, campaign direction, customer insights, and priorities clearly to stakeholders.
• Inspire teams with customer-driven ideas, creative thinking, and digital expertise, while ensuring timely decision-making and issue resolution.

1. Compliance to Relevant Regulations

• Comply with local SOPs, Code of Conduct, industry regulations, and company policies.
• Ensure all promotional materials, digital assets, influencer content, visibility materials, and engagement programs follow required review and approval processes.
• Maintain high ethical standards while driving innovative marketing activities.
• Adhere to drug safety reporting obligations where applicable and promptly report adverse events or product quality complaints.

Job specific competencies:

Professional Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Over 7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years of marketing experience preferred.
• Relevant marketing experience in OTC, Consumer Health, Pharma, Beauty, Skincare, FMCG, or related industries preferred.
• Experience in consumer marketing, IMC, digital marketing, SNS/influencer marketing, or creative content development is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of product/category dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive environment. Business-level English proficiency
• Understanding of pharmacovigilance, compliance, and relevant industry regulations.
