As a Product Yield Enhancement (PYE) – High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Yield Analysis Engineer, you will be part of a global crossfunctional team responsible for ramping yield of HBM products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through highvolume manufacturing and maturityIn this role, you will learn to perform datadriven yield analysis and rootcause debugging from Frontend through Backend. You will be encouraged to explore and apply AIassisted tools, automation, and analytics to help reduce repetitive manual work, simplify data analysis, and improve daytoday engineering efficiency. With guidance from experienced engineers, you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams worldwide to develop technical depth, problemsolving skills, and deliver highquality HBM products to Micron’s customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis across Frontend, Backend and Test to identify yield limiters and drive rootcause diagnostics using advanced analytics, automation, and AIassisted tools
  • Conduct electrical characterization and failure analysis using Micron inhouse bench testers and advanced faultisolation techniques to localize physical defects for Physical Failure Analysis (PFA)
  • Partner closely with Frontend, Backend and Package Design Engineering (PDE) teams to drive manufacturing process corrections or package design optimization for yield improvements
  • Collaborate with Product System Engineering (PSE) and Test Solution Engineering (TSE) teams to analyze testrelated yield issues and support shiftleft initiatives for yield optimization
  • Work with Global Quality (GQ) teams to ensure delivery of bestinclass quality HBM products that meet customer and reliability requirements
  • Support yield learning during NPI, qualification, ramp, and mature production phases through datadriven insights and technical leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics, Microelectronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • Both experienced professionals and fresh graduates are welcome
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problemsolving skills
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes, circuit layout, and schematics
  • Programming experience in Perl, Python, and/or C/C++ is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive results in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset; enjoys working as part of a global, crossfunctional team
  • Strong interest and aptitude in leveraging AI, automation, and scripting to reduce repetitive tasks, enhance data analytics efficiency, and scale yield engineering workflows
