DRIVE YOUR FUTURE

The candidate will join the Moto team at Pirelli headquarter. In particular, she/He will be a support for Moto – Tread Engineering R&D team. We are looking for a candidate with creativity and a desire to know.

YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES

  • Tread Concept Creation – Generate and develop original tread design concepts by combining functional requirements, market insights, and creative design approaches.
  • Pattern Design Development – Translate design concepts into detailed 2D and 3D models, defining groove architecture, visual identity, and functional features.
  • Digital Twin & Design Validation – Develop digital tread models, leveraging advanced CAD, visualization tools, engineering simulations, and performance analyses for virtual validation and product optimization.
  • Design Refinement & Performance-Oriented Optimization – Work alongside engineering teams to evolve tread concepts into manufacturable solutions while preserving the original design intent.
  • Design Adaptation & Product Range Development – Extend tread concepts across different tire sizes and product families, adapting pattern architectures, geometrical features, and design parameters to ensure consistent performance, visual identity
  • Design Research & Innovation – Investigate future design directions, benchmark market trends, and contribute to the creation of innovative tread architectures for upcoming motorcycle tire generations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Master’s degree in Product/industrial Design, Design Engineering, (or similar)
  • Fluent English and Italian
  • Ability with technical drawings, and knowledge in CAD
  • Creativity and design culture
  • Problem solving skills and Teamwork
