The Product Testing Manager will lead the end-to-end testing and validation of next-generation smart devices (smartphones, tablets, and wearables) to secure critical wireless carrier approvals ahead of launch. In this highly cross-functional role, you will champion launch readiness by authoring and driving the Master Launch Checklist, keeping product management, supply chain, packaging, and sales teams perfectly aligned for on-time market entry. As the primary technical and operational bridge, you will run weekly carrier alignment sessions to track testing schedules, proactively mitigate launch risks, and rapidly resolve complex technical issues. To excel, you should bring at least 4 to 6+ years of experience in product development, testing, or program management within the telecom sector, combined with a strong understanding of consumer mobile ecosystems. Ideally, you pair this launch expertise with deep technical acumen in modern wireless standards—including 5G NR, LTE, IMS, and eSIM—and a proven track record of navigating complex partnerships to bring consumer hardware smoothly from development to mass commercial release.
Position Objectives:
• Carrier Technical Acceptance (TA) & Approval: Manage the end-to-end testing and validation processes for smart devices (including smartphones, smartwatches, and tablets) to secure critical carrier approvals and technical acceptance (TA) ahead of launch.
• Launch Readiness & Cross-Functional Orchestration: Author, maintain, and drive the Master Launch Checklist, aligning cross-functional teams—including Product Management, Supply Chain, Packaging, and Sales—to ensure seamless, on-time mobile device commercialization.
• Carrier Alignment & Technical Triage: Lead weekly alignment meetings with wireless carriers to track testing schedules, proactively mitigate risks, and drive the rapid resolution of open technical issues.
