Job

Summary:
Test planar tubes and spark gaps in accordance with established test instructions and product travelers.  Perform aging and other conditioning processes on these products.  Record test data on test data sheets and review test data with engineers and technicians as applicable.  Perform product rework, inspection, and assembly as directed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Set up, calibrate, and operate a variety of test equipment and test sets for the testing of planar tubes and spark gaps, using established test instructions and product travelers.
- Install planar tubes and spark gaps for aging and other conditioning processes on applicable equipment.  Perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance of the equipment as directed.
- Record production and test data on travelers, forms, and test data sheets.  Review any nonconformances with engineers and technicians as applicable.  Maintain accurate, detailed records of all performed production and test processes.
- Compile test data as required for trend analysis.
- Perform product rework steps, as directed.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform additional production duties, including but not limited to inspection and assembly as directed.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor or supervisor’s delegates.
