Job Description

We are seeking a technically minded professional to join our team as a Technical Implementation Specialist for our flagship IP Management System, Equinox Law Firm+. In this role, you’ll design and implement tailored technical solutions, perform light coding, and configure systems to meet client-specific requirements during onboarding projects. You’ll collaborate in client workshops, ensuring solutions align with business goals, and conduct quality assurance testing to guarantee seamless implementation. You’ll also handle ad hoc configuration tasks for existing clients and contribute to special projects as assigned. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for technology-driven solutions.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Becoming a specialist in our flagship IP Management System, Equinox Law Firm+

  • Designing and implementing technical solutions and custom configurations tailored to client requirements as part of an onboarding project, moving a firm from an IPMS onto Equinox Law Firm+

  • Being involved in client workshops to ensure successful product solutions are designed and implemented

  • Performing quality assurance testing to support the successful implementation of technological solutions

  • Working alongside other project team members

  • Carrying out ad hoc system configuration tasks for existing clients

  • Working on other projects and duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Skills:

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field or equivalent work experience required. The role demands a combination of IP and technical proficiency and strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members:


  • Technically minded individual with experience in technology gained through professional work, academic studies or a combination

  • 2+ years experience with software configuration or equivalent technical role desired but not mandatory

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Outlook and similar productivity tools

  • Knowledge of computer programming, database structures desired but not mandatory

  • Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact diplomatically with all levels of law firm and corporate personnel

  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • Articulating complex technical concepts in an understandable way to clients and stakeholders

  • Adjusting to new challenges and changes in technology or project requirements swiftly
