Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute engineering tasks and support production to achieve process KPIs: Output, Quality, and Scrap Cost.
• Perform periodic verification and manage test fallout dispositions.
• Analyze test log files to identify failure modes and troubleshoot failed modules.
• Follow up on Special Build Requests and compile data summaries for product engineers.
• Troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing process equipment to meet yield targets.
• Demonstrate strong observational skills to detect discrepancies and understand test processes in detail.
• Communicate effectively with peers and cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration.
• Provide clear updates and feedback to ensure smooth operations.
• Drive continual improvement initiatives and optimize resource utilization.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Education & Experience

• Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical.
  
  Minimum 5 years of working experience in semiconductor industries, preferably 8 years’ experience working in high mix and high-volume manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
  

Skills

• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
• Willing to work on 12-hours shift, independently and able to solve basic technical issues.
• Good computer literacy, SPC & OPAC knowledge.
• Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
• Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
• Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
