Toromont CAT is seeking a Product Support Sales Specialist for our Crushing and Mineral Processing Division. This role is pivotal in providing technical expertise to support crushing parts and service sales across eastern Canada. This role collaborates to establish, monitor and drive sales objectives. The PSSS is also responsible to engage in field studies to evaluate performance of crushing parts; develop new strategies and support product improvement initiatives; identify and roll out new product offerings; support customer experience; as well as parts planning and forecasting.

The successful candidate will combine product knowledge, sales expertise, market insight and analytics, relationship building skills and strategic thinking to help deliver sustainable revenue, profitability and customer value.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: $90,020.00 to $112,525.00

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Model the way for safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies.
• Develop, implement and provide leadership on strategies for increasing product support sales within the region.
• Support business decisions across all Toromont Cat regions.
• Provide technical and commercial support on crushing product support portfolios to both Aggregate and Mining segments.
• Participate in client sales meetings with sales teams, supporting the sales process & negotiations.
• Have shared responsibility for annual revenue and profitability targets for Crushing Division product
• Provide guidance and assist with the development, implementation, monitoring of annual territory/key account plans.

• Review and analyze sales data and reports, PSSR KPIs and make recommendations based on results.
• Collaborate to identify and fill product offering gaps.
• Ensure implementation of new technologies
• Ensure the use of product support tools (Saleslink, PS/PM Quoter, PowerBi, DBS, etc..)
• Provide coaching and training to support product competency development and sales acumen around crushing portfolio.

Must-haves for this role:

• Bachelor's Degree: Mining/Metallurgical/Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in aggregates production or mineral processing industry is an asset.
• Experience in sales management is an asset.
• 2 to 4 years in a supervisory role is an asset.
• Bilingual English and French is an asset.
• Ability to travel and work flexible schedules as required.
• A valid driver’s license.
