About the Role

Hastings Deering is seeking a Product Support Representative – Laboratory Services to join our team based in Brisbane (Archerfield). This is a permanent, Monday to Friday role focused on supporting and growing our laboratory and Scheduled Oil Sampling (SOS) services across a defined customer portfolio.

In this position, you will:

  • Serve as the primary customer contact for laboratory and Scheduled Oil Sampling (SOS) services across assigned accounts
  • Grow SOS sample volumes by proactively engaging customers and identifying under‑utilised fleet opportunities
  • Provide clear technical interpretation of laboratory results to support equipment reliability and maintenance decisions
  • Deliver customer and internal training on laboratory services, SOS processes, and correct sampling techniques
  • Use fleet and sampling data to identify growth opportunities and improve customer service adoption
  • Conduct planned site visits to improve sampling compliance and strengthen customer relationships
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, and laboratory teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality service outcomes

About You

A successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in laboratory services, condition monitoring, or product support, ideally within a heavy industry or mining environment
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or growing aftermarket services, including customer engagement and facetoface interaction
  • Ability to interpret technical data (e.g. oil analysis / SOS results) and translate it into practical customer recommendations
  • Experience delivering technical or productbased training to customers or internal stakeholders
  • Proven capability managing multiple customer accounts, priorities, and followup activities
  • Strong customer relationship skills with a track record of building trust and influencing service adoption
  • Experience using business systems and reporting tools (Microsoft Office; Power BI exposure advantageous)
