Opportunity Overview

  • Teradyne’s Product Support Group plays a crucial role in driving customer success by ensuring field readiness for new product launches, integrating serviceability and enhancements into product designs, and delivering exceptional service, documentation, and training.
  • The Teradyne Product Support Engineering team is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and technically driven Engineer to provide world-class support for the current and future generations of Teradyne Semiconductor Test Products.
  • This role requires an in-depth knowledge of Teradyne’s product offerings and a strong desire to deliver timely solutions in an evolving customer landscape.
  • Be recognized as a subject matter expert across a wide range of new and existing Teradyne platforms.
  • Engage with the Product Development and NPI teams to influence and prepare new products for successful deployment to the field.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training to spread knowledge to all field service engineers worldwide.
  • Provide timely and accurate support to field organizations in response to a wide array of customer issues.
  • Identify opportunities to use technology to improve the way that we deliver support to our customers.
  • Develop and update service documentation for field installations and preventive maintenance.
  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve the reliability of our systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering.
  • 8–15 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Expertise in technical areas including Power, Embedded, and Networking.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with Design for Serviceability and Reliability.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $76,400 to 122,300. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
