Job Description

About the Role:
Fetch is seeking a Product Strategy & Operations Director to drive high-priority strategic and operational initiatives across the Product & Technology organization. In this high-impact senior individual contributor role, you’ll help shape organizational direction, drive prioritization and investment decisions, and improve how Product, Technology, Growth, Marketing, and Go-To-Market teams operate together.

You’ll partner closely with senior leadership (including CPO, CTO) to bring structure to ambiguous problems, improve operating rhythms, and ensure strategic priorities translate into measurable business outcomes. This role requires someone who can operate at both the strategic and operational level — moving fluidly between long-term planning, organizational problem-solving, and hands-on execution.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, analytics, and execution. You’ll help connect company strategy to product direction, roadmap prioritization, operational decision-making, and cross-functional execution across some of the company’s most important growth initiatives.

This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable stepping into undefined spaces, identifying what matters most, and independently driving progress across teams and leadership stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable operating in ambiguity, and able to influence organizational direction through strong judgment, structured thinking, and operational leadership.

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partnership & Planning
    • Drive strategic planning, roadmap prioritization, and investment tradeoff discussions across Product & Technology.
    • Partner with senior leadership to shape priorities, identify organizational risks, and drive alignment across teams.
    • Help define portfolio-level prioritization across product, growth, and platform initiatives.
    • Translate long-term business and product strategy into operational direction and execution plans.
    • Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or cross-functional business challenges.
  • Operational Excellence & Execution
    • Drive Product & Technology planning cycles, business reviews, operational cadences, and executive decision-making processes.
    • Shape operating models, planning processes, and cross-functional decision-making frameworks across teams.
    • Ensure strategic initiatives are properly prioritized, sequenced, and executed across functions.
    • Identify operational friction, dependency gaps, and execution risks before they become larger organizational issues.
    • Lead multi-quarter strategic initiatives tied to company growth and product strategy.
  • Insights & Decision Support
    • Conduct deep-dive analyses on product performance, operational trends, user behavior, and business impact.
    • Translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations and executive-level narratives.
    • Build frameworks, metrics, and reporting that improve prioritization, investment decisions, and organizational effectiveness.
    • Help leadership teams define success metrics and evaluate business impact across strategic initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Partner across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Finance, Marketing, Growth, and Commercial teams to drive alignment on strategic priorities.
    • Lead high-priority initiatives that require coordination across multiple functions and senior stakeholders.
    • Drive alignment between product strategy, growth priorities, go-to-market execution, and operational planning.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in strategy & operations, product operations, consulting, product management, business operations, or related fields.
  • Strong strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to structure and lead complex, ambiguous initiatives.
  • Highly analytical with experience using data to drive decision-making and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to drive multi-functional initiatives from strategy through execution in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience building executive-level narratives, recommendations, and decision-making materials.
  • Familiarity with product development lifecycles, growth organizations, and technology teams preferred.
