We are looking for a customer- and technology-driven Product Specialist within the Residential Handheld portfolio team. This is a role for someone who combines strong product passion with a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.

You will join a highly engaged and collaborative team that shares a genuine passion for developing innovative products and solutions. Working in a global environment, you will build a strong international network and collaborate with colleagues across markets and functions. The combination of a supportive team culture and a portfolio of exciting, high-performance products makes this a unique opportunity.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping future products. From early ideation to market delivery, your insights will influence how our solutions evolve to meet customer expectations. You will be working in a team that places strong emphasis on projects, customers, and product excellence.

About the role

As Product Specialist, you will translate customer insights and market needs into clear product requirements that drive new product development. At the same time, you will support our sales organizations globally by sharing product knowledge, delivering training, and ensuring the right solutions are brought to market.

Acting as the link between end customers and Husqvarna R&D, you will:

  • Define and develop market and user requirements for new product development projects
  • Engage directly with end customers to deeply understand their needs and expectations
  • Represent the portfolio team in project meetings, ensuring the voice of the customer is clearly communicated

The portfolio team also supports a broad range of activities across the division. This means you will be involved in diverse and sometimes complex tasks beyond the formal product development process, requiring flexibility, curiosity, and a proactive mindset.

The role includes approximately 15–20 days of international travel per year.

Your profile

You bring a strong customer focus combined with a business-oriented mindset. You are comfortable working in an international environment and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders across cultures and functions. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritize effectively and approach challenges with a structured and analytical mindset.

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
  • Solid experience (3+ years) in a relevant field
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
