Our client, a trusted leader in life sciences for over 30 years, is seeking a Product Specialist to join their team in Mount Arlington NJ. Serving as a pre-sales consultant, this role works in partnership with sales, customer success, product, and implementation teams to shape decisions around products, data services, APIs, integrations, and workflows that solve customer business, compliance, and data management challenges. The Product Specialist will deliver tailored product demonstrations, support RFP and RFI responses, lead technical discovery sessions, and translate customer requirements into practical solution recommendations. This role requires strong communication skills, comfort with data and technology, curiosity about customer problems, and the ability to explain complex solutions in clear practical terms to non-technical audiences. Experience with APIs, data integrations, CRM systems, SQL, and enterprise software is strongly preferred. Life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare data experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate comes from a pre-sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering background with demonstrated experience delivering product demos, supporting RFP and RFI responses, and leading technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers. This role requires someone who can speak the language of both the technical team and the business client. Product manager backgrounds are not a disqualifier but are not a direct match. Life sciences, pharma, medical device, or HCP and HCO data experience is a meaningful differentiator. AI prompting skills are explicitly required as our client expects employees to leverage AI tools to amplify their work. Salesforce or CRM experience, SQL, data mapping, and JIRA and Confluence familiarity are all strong pluses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Arlington, NJ.
The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $67.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
