Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Specialist for our Broadcast Media team, focusing on cloud-based software solutions for live productions. The role involves collaborating with solution providers, system integrators, and end customers to build and deliver major live events using our software framework, whether in the cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Manage end-to-end projects directly with customers to build software-based broadcast systems for live production in both cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Guide customers through system design and implementation processes by leveraging expertise in broadcast applications and live production workflows.
  • Work closely with third-party partners to ensure seamless integration of our software framework with their technologies, maintaining interoperability and performance.
  • Develop and implement scripting programs using RESTful APIs to automate tasks, optimize workflows, and enhance system functionality.
  • Troubleshoot deployment and operational challenges using proficiency in cloud and network technologies.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team to drive proof-of-concepts (POCs) and customer-facing projects in both pre-sales and post-sales phases.
  • Provide customer insights for product development. Gather and analyze customer requirements, prioritizing feature enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Provide technical training and create comprehensive documentation for customers and internal stakeholders to facilitate the successful adoption of solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Broadcasting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in supporting broadcast applications and live production workflows.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud technologies, including platform services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and network infrastructure relevant to broadcast and live production.
  • Experience in supporting live production workflows and deployments at small and large scale
  • Able to write and maintain scripts using RESTful APIs to deploy and operate software based media processing modules
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is an asset.
