Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Product & Services Quality Manager (Level K) who will ensure aircraft repairs meet Type Design by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair in support of Production System priorities in Renton, Washington.

Final Assembly, Quality Manager is responsible for providing oversight of the QMS, while collaborating with operations to better align with Programs Special Projects. This position interacts with cross-functional teams across the Renton site.

You will help drive business planning and decision making, operations, and business insights up and down the BCA value stream.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Interfaces with Operations, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet program requirements and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Familiar with the QMS requirements when working in the PC 700 to deliver a Safe and Quality Product

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"

  • Prior Material Review Boards (MRB) signature authority or equivalent in a Commercial or Defense based program

  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS)

  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft assembly

  • Willing and able to work any shift (may be selected for 1st or 2nd shift)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners

  • MRBD skills working tags through the QAAP process

  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in Root Cause Correction Action (RCCA) process and corrective action systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

pay range: $119,850 - $162,150
