Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Product & Service Quality Managers to join our 737 Quality Wings Team in Renton, Washington. These fast-paced factory positions will support teams of Quality Inspectors on the 2nd or 3rd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations

  • Leads by demonstrating and holding all accountable to the Boeing Values and Behaviors

  • Leads process improvement and Boeing Production System (BPS) activities for quality in the 737-Renton factory

  • Provides education, coaching and review of Quality Management System ops and maintains relationships, partnerships and communication with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

  • Understands business objectives, strategies, and conditions affecting all areas of the program

  • Develops and maintains partnering relationships with program leaders, quality stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”

  • 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with executives, managers, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners

  • 3+ years of experience with root cause corrective analysis

  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality or experience in a regulated industry

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)

  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience leading in a Quality Leadership role

  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft assembly

  • Experience with the Material Review Board (MRB) process

  • Experience with the One Boeing Production System (BPS)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
