Job Description

  • Strong knowledge of trade finance products and international trade processes
  • Understanding of UCP 600, Incoterms, and regulatory guidelines
  • Sales and relationship management skills
  • Ability to structure deals and assess client requirements
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in Excel / MIS reporting
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Sales & Business Growth

  • Drive sales of trade finance products (LC, BG, Bill Discounting, Export/Import Finance, Supply Chain solutions)
  • Achieve revenue, fee income, and volume targets for trade products
  • Increase product penetration within existing corporate and SME clients

Client Engagement & Deal Structuring

  • Engage with corporate clients to understand trade requirements and offer suitable solutions
  • Structure customized trade finance deals based on customer needs
  • Support Relationship Managers (RMs) in client pitches and closures

Product Promotion & Strategy

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for trade products
  • Identify new business opportunities across industry segments
  • Promote cross-sell of trade products with other banking services

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, credit, risk, and compliance teams
  • Ensure smooth processing and timely execution of trade transactions
  • Coordinate with treasury/forex teams for trade-linked FX opportunities

Market Intelligence

  • Track market trends in international trade, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings
  • Provide feedback for product enhancement and innovation

MIS & Reporting

  • Monitor and report trade business performance (volumes, revenue, pipeline)
  • Analyze conversion, client activity, and portfolio growth
  • Maintain accurate MIS and dashboards
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration
  • MBA (Finance/Marketing) preferred
  • Certification in Trade Finance (CDCS or equivalent) is an advantage
