We’re looking for an experienced Product Sales & Key Account Manager to help deliver technology that supports the safe, efficient and reliable movement of aircraft around the world.

Your Role

You will drive sales growth and develop strategic customer relationships across Saab’s Air Traffic Management portfolio. The role spans the commercial lifecycle, from identifying new opportunities and helping drive bids to supporting contract execution and developing further business.

As the primary commercial contact for our key customers, you will work with airports, Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), civil aviation authorities and defence organisations. You will represent solutions such as Digital Tower Solutions and Air Traffic Control Systems, working closely with colleagues in product management, development, project execution, finance and bid teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

Business development and sales

• Support and execute sales strategies for Saab’s Air Traffic Management products and solutions
• Identify and qualify new opportunities in domestic and international markets and develop a sales pipeline aligned with growth targets
• Drive the sales process from opportunity identification through contract award and handover
• Support bids and proposals in collaboration with product, technical, commercial and project teams
• Take commercial ownership of assigned solutions and contribute to positioning, pricing and go-to-market activities
• Represent Saab at customer meetings and industry events, including conducting executive-level presentations and solution demonstrations

Market intelligence

• Monitor market trends, industry developments, regulatory changes and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
• Provide market analysis and business forecasts to support strategic planning and portfolio development
• Share customer needs, feedback and competitive insights with Product Management

Key account management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and stakeholders
• Understand customers’ operational challenges and develop tailored solutions and long-term account plans that create value for both customers and Saab
• Support customer satisfaction throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle

The position can be based in either Gothenburg or Växjö and involves extensive international travel.

Your Profile

You have a strong business-driven mindset and combine analytical, solution-oriented thinking with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You are comfortable working with customers and colleagues across countries and cultures and can navigate complex contractual environments while balancing customer needs with commercial objectives.

Required experience

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in business, engineering, aviation management, Marketing, or a related field
• Experience in key account management, business development or technical solution sales, including complex sales cycles and strategic customer relationships
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements and supporting bids, proposals and contract execution
• Strong understanding of contract principles and commercial risk, with financial acumen in pricing, profitability and business case analysis
• The ability to present complex technical solutions in business terms and influence decision-makers
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Knowledge of Air Traffic Management, Air Traffic Control, Digital Tower solutions, airport operations or related technologies would be an advantage.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
