
At Avery Dennison, we are looking for a Product Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our Product Compliance team based in Oegstgeest.
In this role, you will look to remove all regulatory compliance related barriers throughout product development & distribution activities for all our products within the Label and Graphic Materials portfolio (for both existing and new applications).
You will have a significant impact by protecting our brand and by supporting Avery Dennison’s mission to deliver innovative products and intelligent solutions to customers all over the world.
The position will be located at our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest, the Netherlands, reporting in the Product Stewardship and Compliance team EMENA (also based in Oegstgeest).
Key Responsibilities
This is a hybrid position.
Act as the primary point of contact and guide for regulatory compliance-related customer and market questions and requests.
Contribute to the implementation of product compliance systems, policies, and programs.
Support building the innovative Avery Dennison Product Stewardship database.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including Technical Sales, Marketing, R&D, Legal, Operations, EHS, customers, end-users, health institutions, certified test institutes, legal firms, and government agencies.
Conduct chemical risk assessment reports and confidently sign off on improved chemical raw material choices for adhesive formulations with the final application in mind.
Academic degree (Master’s or Bachelor’s) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Toxicology, Pharmacy, Food Science) or Regulatory Education in the field of the chemical or packaging industry.
1–2+ years of experience in product stewardship, regulatory, or compliance roles is a plus.
Proven hands-on experience with AI to manage data and compliance is a plus.
Engineering or regulatory knowledge with an ability to understand technical specifications and regulations, and communicate the implications to non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical skills and a consistent eye for detail.
Proficient written and oral communication skills in English.
Structured and detail-oriented approach.
