As part of our VTS business, our PRV team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. YOUR ROLE:

Come join our growing quality team as a Product Quality Assurance Manager (QAM). In this role, you will be responsible for a driving a focussed Product Development Assurance program (‘left shift’) ensuing rigorous DDQS process application and industrial practices to fundamentally improve project delivery efficiency and underpin customer trust. You will also ensure that quality is owned by everyone not only the quality function, ensuring that the commitments we make to our customers are met in deed, as well as intent, while balancing the cost and schedule constraints. Be a trusted advisor to Domain stakeholders by providing independent Quality Assurance, an accurate view of performance, championing customer satisfaction and reducing quality risks across the role scope.

Working at our Melbourne CBD office, on Wurundjeri Land, some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively promote Quality principles and influence stakeholders to engage and adopt by translating into compelling actionable steps,

  • Proactively shape and drive solutions, removing blocks rather than waiting for direction or escalation

  • Anticipate risks, dependencies and impacts early, navigating complexity rather than reacting late

  • Build trust and collaboration through clear communication and ensuring the right people are involved at the right time

  • Challenge assumptions and existing approaches constructively when they are critical to success.

  • Maintain momentum and act with agility by making practical decisions and progressing work outcomes with the available information.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or related technical discipline.

  • Proven experience in Quality Management roles, preferably in a systems engineering/industrial organisation.

  • A good understanding of process improvement principles and methodologies – ideally including Lean and Business Excellence - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualifications is desirable.

  • Detailed knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001 with demonstrated ability to translate into language that resonates with stakeholders, so they respond.

  • Proven experience of engaging and influencing stakeholders – Ability to shape mindsets & culture.
