Job Description
As a Product Purchaser Warehouse & Workshop, you manage your own product line and oversee the purchasing of Warehouse & Workshop items from suppliers worldwide.
You will be responsible for the procurement set-up, expansion and maintenance of a commercial product range.
Role & Responsibilities
- You enjoy the freedom to work and make decisions independently, while always being able to rely on the support of your team.
- You are responsible for a specific product line, including:
- Workshop machinery (welding machines, compressors, etc.)
- Measuring equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.)
- Warehouse equipment
- Tire presses
- And more ...
- You will manage your global supplier portfolio and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. You analyze price increases, identify opportunities, and negotiate whenever necessary.
- Leading projects across various TVH branches to standardize the product range globally is a challenge you see as an opportunity. This involves data analysis, processing, and reporting.
- Mastering your product range and becoming a specialist in it is a must.
- Collaborating with foreign-language colleagues from sister companies to launch new products, drive marketing campaigns, or initiate them.
- You manage and ensure that your products are presented accurately and clearly to customers across our various e-commerce platforms.
Your Profile
- Experience in Warehouse & Workshop or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operating) solutions is a plus.
- You have excellent knowledge of English, good knowledge of Dutch and a good command of French is a major advantage.
- You are commercially minded, easily build connections, and possess strong communication skills.
- You are proficient in Excel/Spreadsheets.
- You are proactive, eager to learn, and persistent.
- You take initiative, thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, and are not afraid of negotiations.
- You are a true team player.
- You are analytical, autonomous, project-driven, and structured.
