Job Description
The Live and Monetization Team supports In-house and Business Partner moderation efforts to address objectionable or disturbing user-generated content in Live formats across AMS, EMEA and APAC regions.
Our team is dedicated to the review and enforcement of policies to maintain a safe and vibrant platform where creators can interact with users. We work daily to find the right balance between harm prevention and free expression by minimizing leakage and minimizing overkill.
The team is responsible for the daily governance of both In-House and Business Partner Moderation Teams, including but not limited to managing daily operations, tracking of KPIs and developing strategies for improvements to operational excellence. The team also ensures cost-effective operations through strategic resource allocation.
Responsibilities
- Operational Safety Strategy & Frameworks
- Develop and implement a comprehensive safety framework.
- Define and operationalize key performance metrics (e.g., CGVR, TCOA, moderation/model performance) to drive efficiency and quality.
- Establish standards for safety programs, including workforce planning, enforcement mechanisms, and accuracy benchmarks.
- End-to-End Product & Process Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle of safety projects, ensuring processes are designed for scalability, efficiency, and high-quality outcomes.
- Drive operational excellence through rigorous planning, execution, and continuous performance monitoring.
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities, and lead mitigation strategies across programs.
- Data-Driven Insights & Performance Management
- Lead deep-dive analyses of operational and moderation data to generate actionable insights
- Define success metrics, set targets, and implement tracking mechanisms to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Leverage data to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Policy, and Operations teams to define and execute moderation strategies.
- Drive alignment across stakeholders through clear communication of priorities, milestones, and performance updates.
- Influence decision-making at multiple levels and ensure successful delivery of cross-functional initiatives
- Process Optimization & Transformation
- Evaluate existing moderation processes, tools, and policies to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead transformation initiatives, including process redesign, automation, and technology implementation.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement to enhance moderation effectiveness and scalability.
Minimum Qualification(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in content moderation, safety operations, or quality operations, with demonstrated ownership of strategic initiatives.
- Strong understanding of moderation processes, tools, and policy enforcement frameworks.
- Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects from concept to execution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
Preferred Qualification(s)
- Experience in process redesign, automation, and large-scale technology implementation.
- Familiarity with machine learning model evaluation and moderation tooling.
- Experience leading transformation programs in high-growth or platform-based environments.
