Job Description

The Product Designer will be responsible for the development of new products and the continuous improvement of existing ones, from initial concept to industrialization. This role involves creating functional, aesthetic, and technically feasible solutions while working closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure products meet user, technical, cost, and manufacturing requirements.Design and develop products and components according to technical specifications, functional requirements, and ergonomic criteria.

  • Produce 3D models, technical drawings, renderings, and all documentation related to product development.
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies, material selection, and basic strength or performance analysis.
  • Coordinate the prototyping process (3D printing, mock-ups, supplier samples) and validate functionality through tests and trials.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production to ensure designs are manufacturable, efficient, and aligned with quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives: design optimization, cost reduction, process simplification, and standardization.
  • Work with Procurement and Suppliers to validate processes, materials, and tolerances.
  • Manage engineering changes (ECN/ECO) and maintain accurate product documentation.
  • Contribute to defining new concepts, design trends, innovation, and aesthetic improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with technical regulations, safety requirements, and internal standards.
