Santander Insurance is looking for a Product Pricing – Senior Manager based out of Boadilla del Monte
As Product Pricing Senior Manager – Protection, your mission will be to maximize the value of the Protection product portfolio (Auto, Home, Health and other protection products) within the Santander ecosystem.
You will align business strategy, customer experience, regulatory requirements and technological capabilities to drive growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.
You will act as the functional product owner, prioritizing initiatives, making data-driven decisions and ensuring successful end-to-end execution.

Own and drive the pricing strategy and value proposition for the Protection business, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives, regulatory standards, and profitability goals.
Develop advanced pricing frameworks for protection insurance products through scalable machine learning solutions tailored to regulated environments.
Optimize underwriting processes across key protection products and distribution channels, balancing risk management, efficiency, and customer experience.
Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven real-time pricing models, leveraging behavioral, transactional, and contextual data to enable dynamic and personalized pricing decisions.
Build contextual pricing capabilities that adapt pricing dynamically according to customer intent, purchase journey, channel, timing, and behavioral signals.
Detect and prioritize growth opportunities across acquisition, conversion, retention, cross-selling, and customer lifetime value optimization.
Continuously assess market dynamics, competitive landscape, and insurtech innovation to support product evolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Digital, CLTV, and New Ventures.
Define and track key product and portfolio KPIs to measure commercial performance, customer impact, and sustainable growth.
Manage stakeholder expectations and align priorities across functions and geographies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Foster an empirical, test-and-learn mindset and continuous improvement culture.
Translate business needs into clear epics, features and user stories, with well-defined acceptance criteria.

Professional Experience
Minimum 10+ years of experience in Product Pricing, Product Manager or Business Product Lead roles. (Required)
Experience in Insurance (preferably Auto, Home or Health). (Required)
Experience in Financial services environments. (Required)
Experience working closely with technology teams in agile setups. (Required)
Solid understanding of the insurance business model and product economics. (Required)
Proven experience in backlog management and prioritization. (Required)
Strong knowledge of product metrics and data-driven decision-making. (Required)
Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban or hybrid models). (Required)
Experience in both banking and insurance environments. (Preferred)
Experience in digital insurance distribution. (Preferred)
Experience working with external partners or joint ventures. (Preferred)
Background in digital transformation initiatives. (Preferred)
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
Postgraduate qualifications or financial certifications (Master in Finance, CFA, EFPA, or others) are a plus.
Languages
Native or bilingual spanish speaker.
