Job Description

• Own the AI use-case backlog for the pod, starting with the servicing agent-assist scale-out and prioritizing additional items from Mike's backlog of AI pilots.
• Partner with Sallie Mae's internal Product Owner and Carrie's PSL leadership team to define call reduction, AHT (average handle time), and deflection targets — Steve cited the early benchmark of "90 seconds to 14 seconds" agent lookup time and signaled this is where ROI must be proven.
• Translate business intent into Epics, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps (ADO), the SOW-mandated system of record, with explicit Acceptance Criteria.
• Run sprint planning, refinement, sprint reviews, and demos in line with Photon's AI-infused agile cadence (1–2 week sprints, working toward 2-day sprints as the team matures).
• Operate as a "Vibe PO" — leveraging AI tooling for requirements drafting, story generation, and acceptance criteria authoring (Mukund highlighted this model is being staffed at Citi).
• Coordinate with Derek Wade (Steve's agile transformation advisor) on ways-of-working alignment.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 60,000

Maximum Compensation: USD 210,000

Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
