Job Description

Your job:

• Drive the strategic roadmap of the Windows Server Platform, balancing business impact with technical feasibility.
• Take technical responsibility for the operation and continuous evolution of the Windows Server platform on-premise and in the cloud.
• Engage deeply with user groups and business units to understand needs, extract insights, and translate them into powerful platform functionality.
• Partner with stakeholders and user groups to align platform decisions with business priorities and drive adoption.
• Define and prioritize features, create user stories, and manage the team backlog to ensure timely delivery and measurable value for internal stakeholders and customers across the globe.
• Work closely with your team to shape architecture, technical direction, and implementation plans.

Your qualification:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner with a strong balance of business orientation and technical depth
• Experience in managing and steering distributed, agile environments, cross-functional, and international teams
• Customer- and business-oriented mindset – able to identify opportunities, drive adoption, and translate needs into product value
• Ability to challenge engineering and influence architecture decisions while keeping user value and business outcomes at the center
• Solid hands-on understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar) and modern software architectures. Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Azure and ARK and PAM
• Experience in delivering server platform projects and automating IT environments (IaC as standard practice)
• Strong, professional presentation and communication skills
• A proactive, hands-on mentality with high self-initiative and a passion for innovation
• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a nice to have
