About the Role

As a Product Owner / Product Operations Analyst at DRIVE Consulting, you will play a key role in supporting the development and continuous improvement of digital products within the automotive industry. You will combine product ownership, business analysis, UX validation, and product operations to translate business and user needs into structured requirements, drive backlog management, and enable data-driven product decisions across the development lifecycle.

You will be part of a growing international setup, contributing to the development of our new DRIVE location in Bucharest Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help shape scalable product processes, ensure alignment between stakeholders and development teams, and deliver high-impact solutions through a structured, analytical, and user-centric approach.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and document manual and automated software tests based on structured test plans and test cases
  • Structure, document, and continuously refine functional and technical requirements for digital products and services
  • Translate stakeholder needs and workshop outcomes into structured backlog items, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Support product backlog management and prioritization, ensuring transparency and alignment between stakeholders and development teams
  • Maintain and structure product requirements, dependencies, and documentation in collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Prepare and support requirements workshops, documenting decisions, action items, and follow-up topics
  • Create process flows, system overviews, and documentation artifacts that illustrate relationships between components, systems, and operational processes
  • Conduct structured market and competitor analyses, including research on digital product features, pricing models, and market positioning
  • Monitor industry developments and product trends and synthesize insights into structured reports that support product and portfolio decisions
  • Perform UX validation activities by reviewing design concepts (e.g., Figma) against implemented features and identifying deviations from UX/UI specifications
  • Analyze and document UX observations and product insights, enabling alignment between product, UX, and engineering teams
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of product documentation, analysis frameworks, and product operations processes
  • Act as a structured interface between business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to ensure transparent communication and efficient decision-making

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, UX Design, or a comparable field (top universities, very good results)
  • Background in Big Tech, automotive, or industrial environments is highly preferred
  • Exposure to consulting or experience working in client-facing, project-driven environments is highly valued
  • Professional experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Product Operations, or Requirements Engineering, ideally within digital product environments
  • Strong understanding of digital product development and agile delivery frameworks
  • Experience with collaboration and backlog tools such as Jira, Confluence, or comparable platforms
  • Ability to translate business and user needs into structured product requirements, user stories, and actionable development tasks
  • Experience with product analysis, UX validation, or market research is considered a strong plus
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex information and derive clear insights
  • Structured working style combined with high-quality documentation and strong written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international project environments
  • Proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work independently
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
