Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize product backlog items in alignment with business goals and strategic objectives

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria

• Lead and support sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure team alignment and delivery

• Monitor product performance metrics and gather customer feedback to inform continuous improvements

• Ensure clear, effective communication between development teams and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle

• Drive API-first, platform-centric design principles for scalable and robust payment solutions

• Demonstrate understanding of merchant onboarding processes and card processing, including relationships with processors, gateways, card networks, and fintech partners

• Ensure compliance with industry standards including PCI DSS, PSD2, GDPR, UPI, and other relevant regional regulations

• Apply knowledge of PayFac models, digital onboarding workflows, and marketplace payment flows to product decisions

• Navigate technical complexities including tokenization, 3DS2, BIN sponsorship, and global merchant onboarding challenges

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or similar roles in payments or fintech

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product development processes

• Technical background or prior experience interfacing directly with development and integration teams

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Proficiency with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with global payment ecosystems and cross-border transaction flows

• Familiarity with API design principles and RESTful architecture

• Understanding of fraud prevention, risk management, and chargeback mitigation strategies

• Previous experience in the payments, fintech, entertainment, gaming, or e-commerce sectors

Proficiency in written and spoken English
