
The Firmwide Control Management mission is to solidify an effective control framework within and across the lines of business by identifying and remediating control issues with a sense of urgency, regardless of the source. The Firmwide Control Management team will work collaboratively with other control disciplines and will oversee existing control functions as well as the development of new control functions and protocols. This process will enable the firm to engage the appropriate teams in a timely manner and provide the ability to quickly remediate critical control issues across all the impacted areas of the firm.
As a Vice President within the Controls Room Program, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing the Legal Entity product solutions based on Firmwide Legal Entity program requirements. The role requires strategic alignment and continuous improvement to ensure the delivery of efficient and comprehensive solutions. Additionally you will have oversight of the regional reporting needs, engage and respond to regulatory requests, in addition to collaborating with APAC Control Managers and senior leaders.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement product solutions for legal entity functionality based on regulatory and business requirements
Oversee enhancements and maintenance of regional reporting and dashboards for Regional Control Committee Forums
Serve as the central contact for APAC regional stakeholders regarding CORE (Compliance and Operational Risk Evaluation) functionalities and regional reporting capabilities
Respond to queries related to APAC regulatory questionnaires, examinations, and audit reviews, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery
Lead, mentor, and manage a team responsible for delivering legal entity functionality and reporting capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product solutions meet business and regulatory needs
Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update product and reporting solutions to maintain compliance
Drive continuous improvement in product and reporting processes/functionalities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
12 plus years of overall experience in financial services or related industry
Atleast 8 years of experience in product management or product ownership, with knowledge of legal entity functionality and regulatory reporting
Strong understanding of APAC regulatory requirements and business processes
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging regional and cross-functional teams
Experience in liaising with regulators for exams/reviews and compliance queries
Leadership experience, including managing and mentoring team members
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Familiarity with Compliance and Operational Risk evaluation (CORE) and Compliance Risk Assessments
Master’s degree preferred
