Key skills and prior experience

  • Proven experience in the Insurance sector is essential, with a preference for candidates with a background in General Insurance.
  • Strong expertise in Guidewire is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in managing senior business stakeholders effectively.
  • Significant experience in Delivery Management, including leading engineering and QA teams to successfully deliver project backlogs and achieve business objectives.
  • Comprehensive experience in Scope Management, including negotiating business requirements and aligning them with delivery capacity.
  • Strong functional and technical skills with a solid background relevant to the role.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence is mandatory.
  • Experience with JIRA Rovo is advantageous.

What type of work will I be doing?

  • Imagining, delivering, and running cutting-edge digital solutions alongside a world-class team of digital experts.
  • Building strong client and customer relationships to develop detailed customer personas, journeys, and product requirements.
  • Conducting market and product research to stay ahead of digital and innovation trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Translating UX designs into clear requirements, developing Epics and User Stories.
  • Collaborating with architects, designers, and developers to define technical solutions.
  • Managing the product backlog across multiple agile teams to support sprint and release planning.
  • Driving content and priorities for each release iteration aligned with product goals.
  • Assisting with estimation of timescales, resource allocation, and project planning to ensure successful delivery.
  • Owning the product vision and roadmap, with a strong focus on customer journey and end-user experience.
