The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Owner to join QBE on a 12-month fixed term contract within our AUSPAC Claims business.
This role is critical in driving and coordinating the delivery of GICOP-related change across the Claims value chain. With requirements spanning multiple systems, processes, and digital initiatives, you will play a key role in aligning change activity

Your new role
Own and coordinate the delivery of GICOP change requirements across Claims, spanning systems, process, and digital initiatives
Translate regulatory requirements into clear, prioritised backlogs and actionable delivery plans
Identifygaps, overlaps, and dependencies across multiple change initiatives to ensure alignment and consistency
Work closely with Claims leaders, technical teams, and transformation stakeholders across General Insurance and Accident & Health
Partner with delivery squads to drive execution and ensure outcomes are aligned to operational and customer needs
Support the operationalisation of GICOP changes, ensuring solutions are sustainable and embedded effectively
Leverage systems knowledge (including Guidewire) to inform solution design and delivery
Provide clear communication and reporting on progress, risks, and delivery outcomes
About you
Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role delivering complex, cross-functional change initiatives
Strong ability to translate regulatory or compliance-driven requirements into practical, deliverable outcomes
Experienceidentifyinggaps and aligning multiple concurrent change initiatives across systems and processes
Strong stakeholder management across business, technology, and transformation teams
Experience within insurance or financial services, with exposure to Claims (GICOP knowledgeadvantageous)
Experience with claims systems (ideally Guidewire) and working within agile delivery environments
