Division: Client Experience (CBS)

The Product Owners of Digital Communication Channels and Interfaces are a great team located in the Client Experience (CE) Division.

They provide business Product Owner (PO) services to several Tribes within GDC (the “IT” world).

We are currently looking for a new Product Owner to join our Team to service the Digital Engagement Solutions (DES)

You will be part of one of the Digital Channels tribes and be a product owner (PO) of EasyWay which holds four teams working hand in hand with PO from the Client Experience Division being: Asset Servicing, Settlement depot & Cash, Collateral services and EasyWay Reports.

EasyWay is the client facing interface and a key element in the Euroclear service delivery. We therefore need to ensure its evolution is in line with market and technology changes. You will have a central role in defining this product evolution and will manage relationships with a large range of stakeholders (business and IT). You will have the opportunity to work with an agile methodology which is the trend triggered by the recent company transformation. We will help you develop further business knowledge and further maturity/ experience in the definition of business needs and soft skills (out of the box thinking, work in dynamic teams, transversal overview, agile way of working).

Role:

The Product owner is the bridge between the business stakeholders and IT to understand, define and prioritize business requirements in line with the defined business vision and strategy.

As PO, you define the demand aspect of initiatives which entails:

  • understanding the clients' needs
  • in collaboration with the Group Digital Capabilities and Architects defining the most optimal scope and solution to deliver focusing on the true client's demand
  • creating and maintaining the product backlog, documenting and prioritizing requirements and ensuring alignment and understanding by the different business stakeholders of the scope evolution and solution
  • supporting the scrum team during the development and refinement sessions
  • preparing the client's documentation and roll-out
  • planning, monitoring and managing internal projects for initiation and scope
  • ensuring project results meet requirements regarding solutions, schedule, cost and expected business value
  • developing effective relationships with business units, divisions or groups of users
  • ensuring required services are identified, developed and supported to the satisfaction of the business unit/division
  • actively contributing to the Customer Digital Experience strategy execution
  • preparing communications and presentations on product enhancements

Profile:

  • Master Degree or several years of experience in a similar role and/or as Product Manager or Senior Business Analyst in the banking and/or financial services sector, with a focus on client communication and interaction channels.
  • Excellent spoken and written English is required.
  • Analytical, methodical and results oriented are key skills 
  • You are client focus and you have strong team spirit  
  • Strong inter-personal skills and good presentation skills  
  • Planning/organizational skills and autonomy: able to organize and prioritize
  • Accomplish work by yourself  
  • Experience in Agile is an asset
  • Experience in Digital Channels (screens and messages/reporting) would be an advantage

From a Business knowledge perspective, it is a plus if you can demonstrate that:

  • You have transversal business knowledge (Assets Servicing/tax/settlement/credit/collateral) knowledge
  • Understand of our clients and subscription process

Additional Assets:

  • previous experience @Euroclear
  • knowledge of EasyWay/STP
  • experience in Scrum/Agile methodology
  • experience in User Interface Design
