About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Owner – Cash Disbursements Product Line. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

The Product Owner – Cash Disbursements Product Line is accountable for defining and executing the product strategy, roadmap, governance, and lifecycle management of Chevron's global cash disbursement capabilities across multiple ERP and digital platforms. This role serves as the primary business owner and decision-maker for I2P-related processes, ensuring the delivery of secure, compliant, efficient, and scalable solutions that support enterprise objectives.

The Product Owner partners closely with Finance, Treasury, Digital Platform teams, Internal Controls, Procurement, Tax, and Business Units to drive product modernization, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. The role acts as the voice of the customer, balancing business priorities, technology investments, risk management, and value realization.

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for the Cash Disbursements product line.
  • Own product governance, business decisions, feature prioritization, and release readiness to deliver business value and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Finance, Treasury, IT, Internal Controls, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions and drive adoption.
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery, including requirements management, backlog prioritization, solution design reviews, testing, and implementation support.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, SOX requirements, audit expectations, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory obligations.
  • Drive global process standardization, payment modernization, automation, and ERP transformation initiatives across multiple platforms and business units.
  • Monitor product performance, manage risks and issues, and continuously improve service reliability, customer experience, and business outcomes.

Product Scope

Accountable for global cash disbursement capabilities including automated and manual payments, banking integrations, vendor and payee controls, payment compliance, working capital solutions, ERP integrations, automation initiatives, and reporting & analytics.

About You

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, and other Accounting related courses
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in a global or regional Accounts Payable organization
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
  • Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment
  • Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
  • End-to-end Accounts Payable background is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of payment processes, financial controls, compliance requirements, and ERP platforms such as SAP, JDE, and Kyriba.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy, manage priorities and backlogs, and deliver business value through technology-enabled solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills with the ability to influence across business and technology teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with experience managing complex global initiatives and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Product Owner certifications and experience with digital finance transformation initiatives are preferred.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A strategic and customer-focused leader with deep Finance, AP, or Treasury expertise who can drive product vision, influence stakeholders, modernize processes, and deliver measurable business outcomes in a complex global environment

Preferred Systems Experience

  • SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, JD Edwards (JDE), SMART by GEP, Fieldglass, banking and payment transmission platforms, Concur, vendor management solutions, workflow tools, automation platforms, and ERP financial systems.
