Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong Treasury domain expertise to lead product vision, roadmap planning, and Agile delivery for enterprise-grade Treasury solutions. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, clients, architects, and development teams to ensure successful delivery of business-aligned solutions.
The role requires deep knowledge of Treasury products and processes, strong stakeholder management skills, experience in Agile product ownership, and the ability to drive value realization through effective prioritization and execution.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities reflect business value and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, treasury users, architects, developers, and QA teams to define product requirements.
• Translate business needs into well-defined epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize backlog items based on business impact, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.
• Drive Agile delivery by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Make product decisions and provide clarifications to delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Validate delivered functionality against business expectations and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct product demonstrations and obtain stakeholder feedback and approvals.
• Monitor product performance, identify enhancement opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product releases and adoption.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on product progress and roadmap initiatives.
• Support business transformation initiatives related to Treasury operations and technology modernization.

Must-Have Skills & Experience
• 10–12 years of experience in the Treasury domain, with at least 3–5 years in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Lead Business Analyst role.
• Strong understanding of Treasury business processes across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.
• Deep knowledge of Treasury products and financial instruments, including:
o Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
o Cross Currency Swaps (CCS)
o Interest Rate Options (IRO)
o Foreign Exchange (FX)
o Forward Rate Agreements (FRA)
o Repos
o Money Market Instruments
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, valuation concepts, settlements, cash flows, and risk management.
• Experience working with market data feeds, yield curves, FX rates, benchmark rates, and reference data.
• Proven experience managing Agile product backlogs and defining user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage senior business leaders and technical teams.
• Experience driving product delivery in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience in prioritization frameworks and product lifecycle management.

• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and Capital Markets platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance requirements within Treasury.
• Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO) or equivalent certification.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• MBA (Finance) or equivalent financial qualification preferred.
• Professional certifications in Treasury, Capital Markets, Product Management, or Agile methodologies are an added advantage.
