We are looking for a Product Owner to lead the OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors platform within our People Platform. You will play a key role in shaping the roadmap, governance, and evolution of our enterprise document management solution, ensuring secure, compliant, and seamless document lifecycle management across the employee journey.

We believe you bring

Strong understanding of HR business processes and document management requirements, and best practices.

Experience working with Enterprise Content Management platforms such as OpenText xECM, Content Server, and SAP DMS.

Understanding document lifecycle management, retention policies, compliance, and employee document governance.

Experience managing integrations between OpenText and enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, or integration platforms.

Experience owning and communicating a product roadmap while balancing business priorities, technical debt, and platform enhancements.

Ability to collaborate across engineering, architecture, security, HR, and external vendors.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

5–8 years of experience in Product Ownership, Document Management Systems with HR Technology, Enterprise Platforms.

A day in your life with us

As Product Owner for OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors, you will own the strategic direction of the platform and ensure it continues to deliver value to HR, business users, and employees globally.

You will work closely with Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Security, HR Product teams, and external vendors to continuously improve the platform while maintaining stability, compliance, and operational excellence.

This means you will:

Work and communicate the product roadmap for OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors.

Prioritize business requirements, platform enhancements, and operational stability in accordance with business needs.

Collaborate with Engineering teams to define and deliver scalable business solutions.

Partner with HR and DMS Product teams to translate business requirements into application capabilities.

Ensure secure, compliant, and efficient employee document management across the entire employee lifecycle.

Drive continuous improvements in document generation, onboarding, contracts, digital signatures, document retention, and archival processes.

Support major releases, upgrades, and transformation initiatives affecting the platform.

Monitor platform health, operational KPIs, service quality, and user satisfaction.

You will work within the Group Function Digital Area supporting People & Culture platforms across IKEA's global organization.

Our team is responsible for delivering a world-class Enterprise Content Management platform integrated with SAP SuccessFactors, enabling secure, compliant, and efficient management of employee documents throughout the employee lifecycle.

We work closely with HR Product teams, Engineering, Security, Enterprise Architecture, Service Delivery, and external technology partners to ensure the platform remains reliable, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.

What you need to know

Strong understanding of OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors, including the design and governance of Business Workspaces, workspace hierarchies, global document types, metadata models, business rules, and HR document lifecycle management, along with a solid understanding of HR processes and SAP SuccessFactors.

Experience with OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform, including Content Server, Archive Server, xECM for SuccessFactors, Powerdocs, Docusign and GCP platforms.

Proven product ownership experience managing enterprise applications, defining product roadmaps, prioritizing business requirements, and driving platform enhancements.

Strong understanding of digital signature solutions, particularly DocuSign, including various signing methods (AES, QES, SES), end-to-end signing workflows, template management, recipient routing, authentication methods, compliance, and integration with HR document processes.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge business, engineering, and vendor teams.

Good understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, security, compliance, document governance, retention policies, and audit requirements.

Knowledge of OpenText PowerDocs, document generation processes, and SAP SuccessFactors core modules (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Offboarding, and Employee Documents) and their integrations with OpenText xECM will be considered a strong advantage.
