A day in your life with us

As a Product Owner in the People Platform team, you will be at the heart of a foundational transformation in HR Tech. Your work will directly impact how data is designed, governed, and delivered — enabling business leaders across IKEA to make informed, data-driven decisions.

You will own the roadmap for data pipelines that sit at the core of our HR data foundation — identifying what needs to be built, what gaps exist, and ensuring the right use cases are prioritized and delivered on time.

This means that you will:

Own and communicate the product roadmap for HR data pipelines — setting priorities, managing deadlines, and ensuring alignment across teams

Identify use cases that are not yet supported by existing pipelines and translate them into clear requirements for engineering teams

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data & Analytics, and Cyber teams to ensure solutions are built to the right standard

Gather requirements from vendors and external systems to ensure data flows are complete and fit for purpose

Communicate with service delivery teams to ensure that data as a product is operable and reliable

Support the People Operations Transformation program by aligning the roadmap to broader organizational priorities

Together as a team

You will work in Group Function Digital Area. The Digital Area – Group Functions is a new area built to strengthen digital partnership and delivery across all Group Functions and Global Business Operations (GBO). We develop and deliver digital capabilities across key areas like Finance, People & Culture, Procurement, Legal, Business Risk & Compliance, Communications, Real Estate, Business Steering in Ingka's global organisation.

You will be part of a team that is leading the foundational transformation in HR Tech — with a clear vision: to bring trustworthy data to business leaders so they can make informed decisions. We sit at the intersection of HR, data, and technology, and we believe that getting the foundation right is what makes everything else possible.

We are a team that believes in:

Building with purpose — every pipeline, every data model, every decision is connected to a real business need

Collaboration over silos — we work closely with engineering, data & analytics, cyber, and service delivery

Continuous learning and improvement — the landscape is evolving and so are we

Transparency — we communicate our roadmap clearly and hold ourselves accountable to it
