Job Description

TOUCHING HEARTS CREATING MEMORIES
We are a leading global theater production company producing musicals across Europe, with 16 theaters in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, France, and Italy, plus offices in the UK. We bring some of the world’s best-known musicals to the stage, developed by international partners and their creative teams, including Disney's The Lion King, MJ the Musical, and Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
We also create our own original productions, such as Anastasia and TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, sharing them worldwide through tours and licensing. We also have our own in-house ticketing system, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
With around 2,000 employees, we are committed to exceptional shows and a welcoming experience for all. If you want to be part of a creative, dynamic team that brings the magic of theater to life worldwide, we’d love to hear from you!
THE ROLE
You will own the day-to-day rhythm of our website platform development. You will manage, prioritise and refine the product backlog, keep the development team focused and unblocked, and bring clarity to every sprint. You work closely with — and report to — the Product Manager, supporting discovery where needed and making sure strategic intent becomes well-defined, actionable delivery.
This is an international, cross-functional role. You will work alongside teams across development, IT Operations, UX, CRO, Analytics, Content, and Ticketing — connecting the dots and keeping everyone aligned.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Own and maintain the product backlog — writing, grooming and prioritising user stories, epics and acceptance criteria in close collaboration with the Product Manager and development team.
  • Run sprint ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives, stand-ups) and keep the development team focused and unblocked day-to-day.
  • Translate the Product Manager's strategy into clearly scoped, delivery-ready tickets that development and design can act on.
  • Support discovery initiatives where needed — joining user research, stakeholder interviews, and opportunity mapping.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the insourced development team, managing dependencies and surfacing risks early.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with UX, CRO, Analytics, IT Ops, Content, and Ticketing to gather requirements and ensure coherent delivery.
  • Maintain a clear and transparent view of delivery progress, communicating status and blockers to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our agile practices as we build and mature the insourced team's ways of working.

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience & skills

  • 5+ years in a Product Owner or related digital product role, ideally in eCommerce or platform environments.
  • Proven track record managing a development backlog in an agile/scrum environment.
  • Confident writing user stories, acceptance criteria and epics to a high standard.
  • Experience working directly with in-house development teams.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
  • Experience in international or multi-market organisations is a strong plus.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A natural communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail and process.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping to bring structure where there isn't any yet.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced, change-driven environments.
  • Proactive and curious — you don't wait to be told, you spot what needs doing.
  • Comfortable supporting discovery and contributing ideas, not just executing delivery.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Background in CRO, analytics, or web experimentation.
  • Exposure to UX or design thinking methodologies.
  • Experience supporting a product team during an insourcing or team-building phase.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent.

OUR CULTURE

We are a dynamic, entertainment-driven team that moves fast and embraces change. We take our work seriously but do not take ourselves too seriously. If you thrive in an agile, collaborative environment where no two days look the same — you will fit right in.
