Job Description

Join us as a Product Owner

  • Working with the Product Manager for your mission, your time will be split between discovery and delivery and you'll be tasked to find the best solutions to prioritised customer and business problems
  • You’ll be putting the customer at the heart of our plans and constantly improving their journey
  • This is an opportunity to make sure all aspects of our customer journey deliver an exceptional customer experience

What you'll do

As a Product Owner, y ou'll collaborate with your team on prototyping and validating potential solutions to customer problems, establishing that proposed features are valuable, usable, feasible and compliant with policies and regulations

You’ll also be:

  • Creating a strategy for your assigned product areas, and acting as the go-to person for information and updates on your product area
  • Analysing research and data, talking to customers and reviewing feature requests
  • Prioritise the squad backlog, deciding what gets worked on and in what order in consultation with the cross-functional team and stakeholders
  • Splitting epics into detailed user stories and feature specifications in Jira for the team to pick up and build
  • Working with your Engineering Manager and technology leads to set objectives for sprints and ensure the quality of output, making sure that product governance processes are adhered to, with a focus on risk and regulatory compliance

The skills you'll need

To join us in this role, you’ll need a p assion for understanding customer needs and a problem solving mentality. As well as a successful track record of digital design, delivery and operations. It would also be great if you have experience using AI to drive better customer outcomes throughout the product lifecycle.

You’ll also be expected to:

  • Be able to conduct customer research, map out customer journeys and identify opportunities
  • Have experience in delivering products or features that protect customers from Fraud or Financial Crime
  • Have an understanding of small business customers needs and how we can serve them digitally
  • Bring strong stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a technical background with a fundamental understanding of product, software development and UX
  • Bring an understanding of technologies across mobile, web and APIs
