This hybrid leadership role combines Product Ownership and Scrum Master responsibilities for two critical R&D component teams — Render Service and Design Service. The role drives product backlog clarity, feature execution, Agile delivery excellence, and cross-team coordination to deliver scalable, high-quality platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership Responsibilities

Backlog Ownership & Prioritization

• Own and maintain the feature backlog aligned with the product roadmap.

• Define clear user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and business rules.

• Prioritize backlog items based on business value, impact, and feasibility.

Feature Delivery & Quality

• Drive backlog refinement and ensure readiness for sprint planning.

• Ensure testability and functional completeness before sprint exits.

• Support UAT readiness and early customer feedback loops.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, designers, and integration teams.

• Communicate risks, dependencies, technical challenges, and trade-offs.

• Provide clarity on end-user workflows and system interactions.

Continuous Improvement

• Track predictability, rework ratio, and backlog health metrics.

• Promote structured thinking, clarity, and validation criteria across teams.

Scrum Master Responsibilities

Agile Facilitation & Team Leadership

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies—planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.

• Act as a servant leader enabling team focus and eliminating distractions.

Sprint Execution & Delivery Governance

• Track sprint progress using Azure DevOps dashboards.

• Identify blockers proactively and align with leads for resolution.

• Enforce Dev Freeze, QA Entrance, and release alignment processes.

• Achieve Quarterly deliverables with quality code (Say/Do ratio).

Quality & Engineering Excellence

Encourage engineering best practices—unit testing, CI/CD, automation.

• Identify risks early in SDLC and support mitigation.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Senior QA Lead, or similar role in SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum or SAFe.
  • Expertise in writing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools like Azure DevOps / Boards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to break down complex features.
  • Familiarity with web-based systems, APIs, and responsive UI workflows is a must.

Good to Have

  • Understanding of 3D web applications, CAD-based design tools, or product configuration platforms.
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud, and CICD processes.
  • Exposure to feature grooming for mobile-first design and accessibility requirements.
  • Experience with UX collaboration and test automation workflows.
  • Familiarity with product data models in spatial design platforms (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, closets).
