Make an impact as we look to strengthen our team with a Product Owner. The successful candidate would be accountable for translating complex problems into clear, decision-ready product direction. You will operate with high autonomy, owning backlog prioritization to ensure the team is always focused on the highest-value work. This role requires exercising judgment and making prioritization trade-offs, not simply documenting stakeholder requests. We are seeking a professional with a strong sense of ownership who navigates ambiguity and advances their expertise independently, without requiring step-by-step direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Discovery & Decision Support

• Support discovery sessions to synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into defensible product recommendations.
• Explicitly identify assumptions, risks, and dependencies to evaluate opportunities based on value, feasibility, and alignment.

Backlog Ownership & Delivery Enablement

• Manage the product backlog in the system of record, ensuring items are well-defined, appropriately sized, and ready for development.
• Maintain real-time documentation, capturing meeting outcomes, questions, and assumptions to provide a transparent audit trail of the product's evolution.
• Own the authorship of requirements and user stories, utilizing engineering as support for technical feasibility.
• Partner with engineering throughout sprint cycles to clarify intent and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Analysis & Independence

• Build end-to-end prototypes at different fidelities to validate concepts and facilitate stakeholder decisions.
• Work independently to produce decision-ready artifacts, demonstrating the personal accountability to improve processes and deliverables without being prompted for each step.
• Proactively escalate blockers or misalignment with sufficient context for rapid resolution.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Senior BA in a product-led environment.
• Proven ability to produce decision-ready analysis and end-to-end prototypes.
• Technically competent with the ability to partner with engineering on technical requirements.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and synthesis skills.
• Proficiency with Aha!, Azure DevOps, Figma, and Miro.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum in multi-stakeholder environments.
